About Back in the D: BACK IN THE D original creations visually represent some of the most famous Detroit brands, places and special moments from yesterday and today. Like those beautiful Packard automobiles, the ‘68 Tigers, recently closed Awrey’s Bakery, summertime favorite Boblo Island, and many more. Some of these names are still around today, and others are long gone. Each design features a collage of representative images that tell a visual story bringing back memories of back in the day.
