Needlepoint 102- Learn Basketweave

This class is the next step for those who already know the basics of needlepoint or have taken our level one "Learn to Needlepoint" class before. This time of instruction will include a hand-painted pumpkin mason jar needlepoint canvas, needle, threads, and two hours working with needlepoint experts to learn how to do the basketweave stitch! Caitlyn from Geraldine and Virginia will lead the class along with the help of the incredible staff at Stitchers.

Stitchers are asked to come prepared with their own preferred needlepoint accessories or tools. If you would like to stitch on stretcher bars, please bring bars to fit a 6"x" 6canvas. (These are also available for purchase at Stitchers.) This class is perfect for those who already know the basics of threading a needle, how to do the tent stitch, and are ready for the next level.

Basketweave is known as the most durable stitch that provides the best coverage for needlepoint canvases. This is a great opportunity for stitchers to meet other needlepointers and master the art of basketweave in a supportive and fun environment!
