Join us for the NECCD 86th Annual Training Institute, taking place in beautiful North Conway, New Hampshire, at the North Conway Grand Hotel. This year's theme is
Taking Ownership of Criminal Justice and Our Wellness.
This in-person event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow professionals, enhance your skills, and take ownership of your role in criminal justice. The institute is designed for a variety of professionals, including:
- Probation and Parole Officers
- Law Enforcement and Police Officers
- Social Workers and Service Providers
- Corrections and Facility Staff
- Juvenile Justice Professionals
- Child and Family Welfare/Protection professionals, and more!
What to Expect
We've packed the event with insightful workshops, networking opportunities, and sessions that are directly applicable to your work. This year, we're exploring topics such as:
- Self-care and wellness for criminal justice professionals
- Interviewing and interrogation techniques
- Strategies for facing behavioral and mental health populations
- Communication skills, including active listening and feedback
- Internet crimes against children
- Gang outreach
- Women's leadership
- Motivational interviewing
