This 9-week program guides pre-revenue and start-up entrepreneurs through the 17 foundational steps of launching a business. In addition to going through the Launch Academy eCourse, the cohort will meet with an instructor via Zoom for two hours of classroom time each week. This time will be used to brainstorm ideas, receive feedback, bring in guest experts, and connect with fellow course participants. The course will conclude with the creation of a one-page business plan and polished elevator pitch to sell your business to anyone. Guest experts will be invited for Q&A sessions throughout the program.

While anyone would benefit from this business fundamentals program, it was designed with a small business owner in mind who are early in their entrepreneur journey or are in the start-up phase of business.

The NCRC CDFI Fall Launch Academy will take place every Monday between October 11, 2022 and December 5, 2022 from 8am PT/11am ET.

November 7, 2022: Week 5 - Branding / Marketing plan / Online presence

November 14 2022: Week 6 - Contracts / Insurance

November 21, 2022: Week 7 - Team / Systems & Organization

November 28, 2022: Week 8 - Start-up capital and elevator pitch

December 5, 2022: Week 9 - Final Wrap-Up: Business plan and elevator pitch presentations
