Join us for the Winter/Spring 2026 term to get support and education on navigating life in the first two years after a stroke.

Navigating your Recent Stroke: education and support for the first two years after stroke

Date:

  • 2026 Winter/Spring Term; January 8th - June 18th
  • 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. Due to the New Year holiday, the meetings in January will take place on the 2nd and 3rd

Time: 2-4 pm

Location: Online, Microsoft Teams

This online group offers education and support for stroke survivors and their care partners during the first two years after stroke. Participants can expect to learn from recordings of medical professionals, community experts, and therapists on common stroke recovery and community reintegration topics. The education session is followed by a support group where participants can connect with others who understand their journey, including current Stroke INSPIRE participants. Join us to share experiences, ask questions, and offer encouragement in a safe and supportive environment.
