Join Us for Navigating the New World of Cannabis, Education, Prevention & Best Practice -
A community-based session exploring the shifting landscape of cannabis — from history to legalization. This presentation examines both medical and recreational cannabis, the prime and negative effects, and how marketing targets youth. Participants will learn about prevention measures, SBIRT for medical providers, DSM-5 criteria for cannabis use disorder, and treatment recommendations.
The objective of this session is to provide navigation in a new world of cannabis by developing curiosity, fostering awareness and equipping the audience with knowledge.
