Navigating the 2024 North Carolina State Building Code

Join us at the Reynolds Place Theater for an in-person event where we'll deep dive into the 2024 North Carolina State Building Code. Get ready to explore the latest updates and modifications that will shape the future of construction and design and earn 7 HSW credits.

Code Consultants from the North Carolina Office of State Fire Marshal will present the significant changes to the 2024 NC Building, Existing Building, Energy Conservation and Administrative Code and Policies. Major topics will include occupancy classifications, building planning, life safety, means of egress, fire prevention, accessibility, structural design criteria, plumbing fixture design parameters, building mechanical support provisions, existing buildings criteria and more! Our speakers will cover the major code changes between 2018 and 2024 as adopted by the North Carolina Building Code Council over a multiple year amendment and adoption process.
