- Anyone supporting children’s wellbeing
Social media and screen time are some of the biggest challenges families face today. With the social media ban for under-16s commencing on 10 December 2025, many parents are unsure what to expect or how it might affect their family—particularly if their child feels anxious or uses social media to stay connected.
Join us for this special event, designed especially for busy parents who need clear, practical information and support.
We know there are still many unknowns, since how the ban will be enforced depends on the social media platforms themselves. While we may not have every answer yet, this session will give you the most up-to-date information available.
What you’ll get from this session:
- A clear explanation of what the social media ban is, why it’s being introduced, and how it’s expected to work
- Practical strategies to encourage healthy tech habits at home and manage screen time during school terms and holidays
- Guidance on having open, constructive conversations with your kids about social media, gaming, and online behaviour
- Tips for keeping children safe from harmful or inappropriate content, and how to respond to challenges like cyberbullying
- Real-life advice and easy strategies to help your child cope with change, especially if they’re feeling anxious.
