Join us on Tuesday, May 28th from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the UBC Learning Exchange (612 Main Street, Vancouver) for an informative and engaging seminar focused on workplace safety, rights, and responsibilities.

"Navigating Safety with WorkSafeBC" is designed for social service providers, employment counsellors, support workers, and anyone interested in learning how to protect themselves and support others in safe and healthy work environments.

What you'll learn:

  • What WorkSafeBC does and how they support workers and employers
  • Employee rights and employer responsibilities around workplace safety
  • How to recognize unsafe work and what to do about it
  • How to support clients in advocating for their safety and rights

After the seminar, stay for light food and refreshments, networking, and a chance to connect directly with representatives from Working Gear Clothing Society and WorkSafeBC.
