Join Jenny Ward, MFA, Parent Coach of the Center for Children and Youth, for Navigating High-Conflict Divorce—2 Session Workshop.

Learn how to navigate high conflict in court and evaluations and create a safe and cheerful home for your child. We will also dive into transforming from pain to freedom as a parent.

Week 1—Tuesday, 10/3: Conflict and Our Relationship to Control

In this workshop, participants will learn practical ways to navigate the court system and reduce conflict while developing valuable tools to make transitions safe and effective for our children. Specific strategies will also be discussed to prepare for evaluations and neutralize conflict in emails and other forms of communication.

Week 2—Tuesday, 10/10: Creating a Home That is Safe and Positive

In the second week, participants will focus on ways to support a child's overall needs and emotions. Learn to create a positive and healthy model for all feelings and experiences. We will also discuss the idea of parallel parenting, the art of self-love and forgiveness, and how to create a strong foundation without competing with your ex-partner.

Finally, we will discuss the transformation of the self and how to use this as an act of service for your community.

Fee: $90 for both sessions, each 7:00—8:30pm.
