Navigating Grief During the Holidays: From Suffering to Honoring with Love

By Ligia M. Houben

Overview

A Healing Morning of Art, Reflection, and Companionship

The holiday season can deepen the ache of grief, especially when our hearts long for someone who is no longer physically with us. If you are looking for a gentle space to pause, breathe, and connect with others who are also grieving, we invite you to join us for this special gathering.
St. Hugh’s Bereavement Support Group “Hope” welcomes you to a morning designed to bring comfort, meaning, and community as we navigate the holidays together. Through healing art activities, guided reflections, and compassionate companionship, you will have the opportunity to honor your loved one, express your emotions in a supportive environment, and experience moments of peace. This is a safe, nurturing space where grief is validated, stories are welcomed, and hearts are gently held.
