Navigating Calls for Art: Juried Exhibitions and Your Practice
Live via Zoom
Admission: Sliding scale of $10 - $20
Juried exhibitions provide increasingly popular venues for artists to share their work with new audiences. From exhibitions mounted by local art associations to nationally competitive calls, this class will break down how to research opportunities, how to select work for your application, and how to leverage being featured in such shows. The course will also detail what goes on behind the scenes from both a gallery and juror prospective.
This program will include a one hour presentation followed by a half hour for questions from students. This is a great chance to learn and get more information for your specific needs.
