Join us with your little ones as we explore the wonders of the world around us! The morning will consist of meeting some of our critters, story time, outdoor exploration, and other hands-on activities! This program is designed for 2-4 year olds with their caregivers.
Tuesday, August 19th: Compost, Worms, and Mud Pies...Oh My!
Ever wonder about all that’s happening beneath our toes?! Learn about our friends that like to burrow under the ground: salamanders, box turtles, and even a millipede!
Enjoy making healthy and cute bug shaped snacks and then feed the leftover scraps to our very own compost worms!
We will end the day with story time, the making of mud pies (change of clothes are recommended), and remembering that just as God made humans from the clay of the ground, good things come from humble beginnings!
**Important Notes:
Your first ticket is for you and 1 child. If you have more children in the age group, please purchase an additional ticket for each child. To ensure we have enough supplies, please purchase additonal tickets for any older siblings who would like to be active participants. Children less than 2 years old are free.
Program meets in St. Francis Hall, located in the main Wayne and Donna Neu Building, and runs from 10:00-11:30am. Participants are welcome to stay after group time and play or eat lunch.
