Our series of nature journaling workshops will take you on a progressive journey that will allow you to explore skills like observation, art, color theory, poetry, and more! You will have the chance to collaborate with others and learn in a peaceful, welcoming environment in Calumet's best forest preserves (view the agenda for specific site locations)! Light snacks and refreshments will be provided at each session.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to bring?

Nothing! You will be provided with a journal to bring to each session, as well as a variety of art supplies to use. If you have a journal, supplies, or other items you would like to bring, you are welcome to do so.

Do I need to have experience with nature journaling?

No! Event facilitators will instruct you on different topics throughout the series, and will be present to answer any questions you may have.
