Nature journaling is an engaging and interactive way to investigate nature and learn more about the world around us.
Sprouts Mom and Jurica-Suchy Nature Museum director/curator and Master Naturalist, Karly Tumminello will lead a Nature Journaling activity for the group.
We will look for details and lean into our curiosity as we explore the Sprouts Learning Garden. The children will explore the beauty and nature around them and Ms. Karly will help them unleash their inner artists and capture it on paper together. Drawing and writing about the observations will encourage the children to thoroughly examine natural objects in a scientific manner.
No experience needed, just bring along some curiosity and enthusiasm. A starter nature journaling kit will be provided.
