Do your staff have a Working with Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid Certificate?

All of our education staff and volunteers have Working with Children Checks (WWCC). Our lead educator has a First Aid Certificate.

What should we bring on the day?

Please bring a backpack with snacks and lunch (or buy food from the Leaf and Bean cafe at the Garden) and a refillable drink bottle for each person.

What clothing and footwear is appropriate?

Sturdy, enclosed shoes and clothing that is practical for climbing, jumping and getting dirty.  A broad-brimmed hat is essential. A light, long sleeve top is highly recommended, otherwise a T-Shirt covering the shoulders with sunscreen applied to the arms and neck.

Where do we meet on the day?

Please make your way to the Nature Discovery Centre, located approximately 50m from the entrance of the Botanic Garden. Follow the main path and keep a lookout for the new building on the left (Western) side of the Main Path.

What if I am running late?

What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

We are unable to process refunds, but a credit for future programs will be awarded for cancellations with at least 24 hours' notice.

Are parents/carers required to attend?

Accepted Answer

This is an intergenerational program designed for children and adults to enjoy together.  If parents or carers are not available, we encourage you to recruit other important adults to attend with your child.
