Native Planting at Dirksen Nature Park

By TRK - Tualatin Riverkeepers

Overview

Join Tualatin Riverkeepers to connect with nature and learn more about the importance of native plants!

Join us to plant native plants at Dirksen Nature Park in Tigard! This work supports wildlife habitat, water quality, soil health, and human connection throughout the park.

On this day, we'll plant 200 willow trees in the Dirksen Nature Park wetland. Water resistant boots (ideally rubber boots) are definitely recommended! We'll be planting in a wet area, so you will get muddy!

Snacks, coffee, tools, safety gear and instruction provided. This park is accessible via the 76 Trimet bus line.

Thank you to our partners from Ash Creek Forest Management, City of Tigard, Clean Water Services, and Tualatin Soil and Water Conservation District for supporting this project!
