Native and Pollinator Garden Workshop
Join us for an engaging evening at Geer Street Learning Garden to explore how you can boost your garden’s productivity while contributing to local biodiversity and environmental stewardship. Learn what native and pollinator plants are, their many benefits and how you can incorporate them into your garden. The workshop will feature a blend of presentation, discussion, and a garden walk highlighting native and pollinator plants.

We recommend arriving 10 minutes early to sign in and get settled before the workshop begins.
Parking
Workshop participants can park across the street on the lawn next to Bull City Cool and along Mangum and Roxboro Streets. Look for the “Inter-Faith Food Shuttle Event” sign and a greeter to guide you.
What to Bring and Wear
- Water bottles and light snacks
- Notebook, pen or pencil
- Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes
- Optional: Gardening gloves and a mask (for your comfort)
Allergy Notice
Bees and fire ants may be present in the garden. Please bring any necessary allergy medications and inform a staff member if you have allergies.
Rain Date
The rain date for this event is June 17th, 2025, we will notify you via email if the workshop is rescheduled.
