Watch the short film, Unity - Cockacoeske's Dilemma, followed by Q&A. This film is part of the Indigenous Women Through History series by Saving the Circle.


When present-day descendants of Tsenacommacah meet to explore shared Powhatan Confederacy heritage, they awaken the spirit of an ancestor and begin their journey through the history of Cockacoeske, the renowned "Queen of Pamunkey" signatory of the 1677 Treaty of Middle Plantation.
