Writing with Noise is a collaboration between Ideas of Noise Festival and Riffs Journal. For this year's event we welcome legendary New York-based trumpeter/composer/sound Artist Nate Wooley as special guest.

Following a talk from Nate, participants will collaborate to create brand new score/text pieces which will be performed by Nate and subsequently turned into a new very special edition of Riffs Journal. (2-4pm)

For the second half of the event (4:30-6:30pm), Mike Fletcher will perform with his saxophone/writing duo with Nicolas Pillai, followed by a series of interactive duos of music and words. Participants are encouraged to bring instruments if they play one!
