Welcome to the Nashville Connector Lunch and Learn!
Preserving the environment and conserving natural resources improves quality of life now and in the future, so collaboratively, the Nashville Connector, Socket, and WeGo Public Transit are hosting an in-person Lunch and Learn training intended to educate and empower Metro employees on using their sustainable transportation options.
The Nashville Connector program promotes and incentivizes the use of sustainable modes of transportation, including walking, biking, using transit, carpooling, etc., working to decrease pollution and reduce the carbon footprint of transportation in our community.
Socket Nashville is Metro's Sustainability Outlet, housed in the Department of General Services, working to integrate sustainable practices throughout the department’s programs and operations with the goal to reduce energy use, waste, and greenhouse gas emissions.
You're invited to join us on Wednesday, June 25th at 11:30a in the Metro Office Building conference room on Fulton Campus for a hands-on, Metro employee-specific training on signing up for the Nashville Connector program, including syncing with the Ride Amigos software platform and app, and the sustainable modes our program supports and promotes. Also, hear from our WeGo partners about the WeGo Ride Metro Employee transportation benefit and the WeGo Link program.
