Ondine LaSalle and Nancy Truesdail Live
Come join us for an intimate and fun evening with the talented duo, Ondine LaSalle and Nancy Truesdail, as they perform live at Amplified Studios.
Nancy Truesdail is a pianist and vocalist who received High Honors in piano performance at Binghamton University in 2005. Based out of San Diego, she has performed both locally and internationally. She posthumously produced three albums of songs by her late husband Don Truesdail, who was a talented bassist and songwriter. She brings you beautiful arrangements of his body of unique music and storytelling. Don, hailing from Owego, NY, passed in a tragic freeway accident in 2009. His style was inspired by artists such as Joni Mitchell and most of all, his father, Dan Truesdail.
Ondine LaSalle has been writing, recording, and performing her original music alongside various musicians since 2006. She is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area where she got her start performing live music, poetry, and spoken word. She has made San Diego her home over the last 17 years where she has continued her work recording and performing live. She is a guitarist and vocalist currently performing alongside Chuck Vadun on drums. Her work is an eclectic blend of original folk, alt rock, lo-fi, and freestyle/hip hop compositions. She began writing and publishing poetry as a child, helped to publish a poetry zine during college, and she is currently working on a memoir.
