About this event

EVENT SUMMARY

Join the MVC Coordinating Center for its Fall Semi-Annual Meeting on Prescribing Health in Michigan. Attendees will have the opportunity to network as well as hear presentations focused on value-based medication utilization and the impact of interdisciplinary collaboration to improve patient outcomes.

Presentations will include unblinded data; innovative strategies to optimize medication utilization; and care team collaboration to improve patient outcomes, reduce readmissions, and support care transitions. Attendees will learn strategies to drive evidence-based medication utilization and support patient access to medications through the implementation and evaluation of quality improvement projects.

After this activity, the following patient outcomes are expected to be improved: medication access and utilization, patient experience, treatment adherence, care transitions, post-discharge support, patient education, reduced readmissions, and health equity.

HEALTH AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The MVC Coordinating Center strongly recommends that attendees wear face masks while indoors unless eating and drinking, and will have medical face masks available for use. In addition, although we will miss you, those who are feeling ill or exhibiting symptoms consistent with COVID-19 should not attend and inform the MVC team of your absence.
