Bruce Hamm
Bruce Hamm is a disciple of the revered maestro Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. He began studying the sitar and vocal music with Khansahib at Ali Akbar College of Music in 1974. After several years of studying the sitar, Bruce decided to switch his main instrument to the Sarod. He then pursued a serious and continuous study of classical instrumental and vocal music over the span of nearly 4 decades. In 1981 he tied the thread with Khansahib to become a disciple and became an instructor at the Ali Akbar College of Music in San Rafael, California. Bruce has performed numerous solo concerts throughout the US and India.
Joanna Mack
Joanna Mack began her pursuit of Classical North Indian Music in 1997 under late Pandit Deepak Choudhury, a senior disciple of renowned musician Pandit Ravi Shankar. She traveled to India where she fully devoted herself to the pursuit of Indian Classical Music under the guidance of Deepakji through 2005. Joanna then returned to the United States, taking on the responsibility to teach the traditional values and ideas of the Maihar Gharana. She continues to teach private and group classes, along with performing in a variety of venues. She also studied under late Ustad Ali Akbar Khan, and continues her studies with sarodia Bruce Hamm at the Ali Akbar Khan College of Music in San Rafael and master classes with sitarist Sri Partha Chatterjee.
Amod Dandawate
Amod Dandawate began his journey under his father Dr. Vasantrao Dandawate, a disciple of the legendary Maestro Ustad Amir Hussain Khan. He received further guidance and encouragement from Shafaat Khan as an accompanist, and then took lessons from Ustad Zakir Hussain. Since 2001, he has been receiving advanced training from Pt. Samir Chatterjee, a well known maestro of the Farrukhabad gharana. Besides performing solo Tabla, Amod has accompanied several eminent artists and keeps a busy performance schedule.
