Join the Thalea String Quartet for The Natural World, a captivating program that explores the beauty, energy, and mystery of nature through music. From Terry Riley’s celestial Sunrise of the Planetary Dream Collector to the bird-like melodies of Haydn’s Op. 33., and closing with the joyful depth of Beethoven’s final string quartet, the music evokes the landscapes and creatures that inspire us. With works by Henry Purcell, Gabriella Smith, and Andrew Yee rounding out the journey, this program invites audiences to experience the wonders of the natural world through the vibrant voice of the string quartet.
