Join us for an hour and a half guided experience through one of Central Park’s paths, where we’ll explore the fascinating world of fungi and plants through gentle observation and simple sketching and drawing. This isn’t about perfection — it’s about presence. Along the way, a knowledgeable mycologist will help us learn how to identify some of the mushrooms we encounter and share insights into their hidden lives. What we discover will depend on recent rainfall and the unique micro-landscapes we visit — nature always has a surprise or two in store. We’ll take time to walk slowly, observe, sketch, and share in the quiet joy of being outdoors together. No experience is necessary — just curiosity and a willingness to slow down.
