Be careful this fun hobby can be habit-forming! Spend the afternoon learning this craft with Teresa Higgins of Winding Brook Farms. Teresa is a retired art teacher with over 30+ years of assisting children and adults to experience the joy of creation. Basic wool felting is simple and relaxing. Participants will be provided with enough wool to create one small cute mushroom and one felting needle to keep. Each participant will come away with one felted mushroom! These little mushrooms can be turned into key chains, added to wreaths, used as ornaments or just displayed for fun! The workshop will be held at our downtown lab space.

Where is the lab located and is there parking?

The mycology lab is located in downtown Monroe right off of Stewart Street in the lower level of the Belk Building. There is ample parking in the lot beside the building and across the street.

What happens if I cannot attend after purchasing a ticket?

We understand that "life happens," however, we cannot offer refunds at this time. If you cannot attend for some reason let us know by phone or email. We will hold the cost of your ticket(s) and apply it to another class or any of our fresh products.
