What time do I need to arrive?

Doors open at 6pm. Please arrive by 630pm (the start of the show and experience).

What type of event is this?

This is an interactive murder mystery experience where every guest is a suspect. You’ll become part of the story, uncover clues, interrogate “witnesses,” and work with (or against) other guests to solve the mystery. It’s part game, part immersive theater, and all fun!

Do I need to prepare anything?

No. Just bring your curiosity and a sense of adventure! Costumes in a 1930's Old Hollywood theme are encouraged to enhance the experience, but not required.

How long does the experience last?

The event typically lasts 2–3 hours. Food and one drink from the bar is included in your ticket price. The full menu (wine, beer, two batched cocktails, tea, coffee, soft drinks will be available for purchase).

Murder Mystery Party

Embrace the spooky season with a thrilling evening of an old Hollywood whodunnit at Passages Wine and Books, a bookstore and wine bar in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago. This interactive murder mystery puts you in the middle of the action with improv actors, costumed suspects, and plenty of twists. Gather your friends, follow the clues, and see if you can crack the case before the night is over.

1930's or Old Hollywood attire encouraged!

What is included: the murder mystery live experience, hearty appetizers and desserts, 1 drink ticket, and access to the wine cafe menu with wine, cocktail, and beer options available for purchase.
