Is accommodation provided? Can I stay at the venue overnight?

No, unfortunately we will not be able to provide accommodation. But, you are allowed to stay at the venue overnight. We will keep the venue open for you to work out of

Can I participate individually?

Accepted Answer

Yes, individual participants as well as teams of up to three members are welcome

Question 3

Which technologies are we allowed to use?

Accepted Answer

You are free to use any publicly available technology, tools, or libraries, as long as they are properly credited. The primary focus should be on Generative AI technologies, like large language models or image generation models.

What is the criteria for judging?

Accepted Answer

Projects will be evaluated based on their creativity, technical difficulty, practicality, and the effectiveness of the team's presentation.

Question 5

Are we allowed to use pre-written code?

Accepted Answer

No, all coding must be done within the 24-hour period of the hackathon. The use of publicly available libraries and APIs is permissible, provided they are properly credited.

Question 6

Can we leave the venue during the hackathon?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you may leave after team formation, but if your project is selected for the final presentations, you must return for the in-person presentation.

Question 7

What happens if we don't finish our project on time?

Accepted Answer

Only projects submitted by the 1 PM IST deadline on Sunday, May 28th will be considered for final presentations and judging.

Do we retain ownership of our work?

Accepted Answer

Yes, participants retain full ownership of what they create during the hackathon.

Question 9

Can we change our project idea after submission?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but any changes must be approved by the hackathon team. Please remember that changing your idea might impact your ability to complete the project within the given timeframe.

Are there any restrictions on the prizes?

Accepted Answer

Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, assigned, substituted, or redeemed for cash.

Will there be Parking available?

Yes, the venue has limited parking space available for 2-wheelers & 4-wheelers - on a first come first serve basis. Please ensure you arrive on time if you are looking to park your vehicle. Alternatively, you can also park in the Centro mall beside the location
