Multiple-Choice Questions to Assess Higher-Order Thinking: Introduction
Event Information
About this Event
Despite common perceptions, it is possible to craft multiple-choice questions that go beyond recall and comprehension and instead assess higher-order analysis, application, and integration. In this workshop, we will explore how to draft multiple-choice questions that are “non-Google-able” and maximize “desirable difficulties” for learners.
Although attendance at both sessions is not required, CATLR is also offering Multiple- Choice Questions to Assess Higher-Order Thinking: Bring Your Own on 3/10 from 3pm-4pm. Register here.
For Future Faculty Program participants, this session fulfills the “Assessment & Active Learning" requirement.
This session is only open to Northeastern University educators. Please use your Northeastern email when registering.
