Multi Multi and pianist/composer Jeroen Dirrix present an enchanting evening of innovative live music in an aesthetic setting. As part of North Sea Round Town, the café transforms into an intimate club atmosphere. In a setting with high-quality sound and lighting, genres and worlds blend together, with performances by: Vixnde (Viana Afoumou), Phantom Wizard and Jeroen Dirrix. Vixnde (Viana Afoumou):
Brussel’s born, Rotterdam-based singer-songwriter Viana Afoumou presents the product of her life: vixnde (pronounced “viande”) - an intimate and layered exploration of sound, silence and voice, intertwined with stories and songs. Some would call it experimental pop.

Jeroen Dirrix:
Dutch composer & producer Jeroen Dirrix seemingly lives at the crossroads of sound, where his work revolves around deep intuition. An electronic musician, producer and pianist based in Rotterdam, Dirrix simply lets his music just happen rather than building it from scratch. Combining acoustic pianos with analog synthesizers, he pours out trance-like music that ebbs and flows organically, essentially producing and playing on-the-fly.

For this special night Jeroen Dirrix will perform an improvation-based piano concert.

Phantom Wizard:
Phantom Wizard is a composer and multidisciplinary artist whose work dissolves boundaries and reimagines traditions. Rooted in decolonial philosophy and self-taught as a multi-instrumentalist, Phantom Wizard’s artistry developed outside traditional institutions.
Emerging from Amsterdam’s Southeast—a historically Caribbean and Afro-diasporic neighborhood—this environment has profoundly shaped the creative vision. It is here that the Fribari philosophy began to take shape: a fluid, untamed concept that unfolds through compositions, free improvisations, soundscapes and performances.

Phantom Wizard’s sound draws from a rich tapestry of influences, weaving together textures of nature with ambient, free jazz, minimal, electronic, and the vibrant sonic palette of the Caribbean, offering a fresh perspective in contemporary music.
