Introduction
Your organization/club/group/association has been invited to participate in the 20th biannual Multi-Group Mixer (formerly the Young Professionals Multi-Group Mixer), scheduled to take place on October 29th, 2015 in Florham Park, NJ. As always, 15-20 organizations are expected to participate and 300-400 Professionals from across the state will attend.

The purpose of the Multi-Group Mixer is to bring together professionals from MANY membership based organizations for a night of social networking and for group-to-group cross exposure. Professionals attend to make new contacts, make new friends, and to learn about other organizations.

Why should your organization participate?

  • Thousands of professionals will hear about your organization! We always submit press releases and market the event all over the web.
  • Your logo and website will be listed here, http://www.multigroupmixer.com/participating-groups.html
  • You will be providing your members with the unique opportunity to network with hundreds of professionals in one night.
  • You will keep the proceeds from your online ticket sales ($10 for your Members, $15 for Non-Members).

Requirements to Participate

  • You must add the event to your organization’s website.
  • You must post the event on your Facebook business/group page.
  • You must eblast your Members about the event.
  • You must begin to promote the event to your members by 9/23/2015, but NOT BEFORE 9/15/2015

Cost for Group Participation
Organizations may be a part of this event for FREE.
Organization Registration Deadline: 10/02/2015

Date and Location of the Multi Group Mixer:
Thursday, October 29th 2015 from 6:30-10:30 pm at Wyndham Hamilton Park Hotel and Conference Center in Florham Park, NJ

Who can attend the Mixer
Any professional may attend, from teachers and lawyers to business owners and wood workers.

Drinks and Food
Cash bar. Credit cards will not be accepted so guests need to bring cash.

Ticket Sales and Guest Lists
Each organization will be responsible for letting their Members know the cost to attend.
Online cost is $10 for Members and $15 for Non-Members.
We can provide you with a link so your Members can purchase tickets OR you can sell tickets via your ticketing system.
If you sell tickets using your system your guest list is due 48 hours before the event.
Each organization will be given 5 complimentary tickets so leaders and staff may attend.
Each organization will keep the profits from online ticket sales.
Members who do not purchase tickets online will need to pay $20 at the door (your organization will not keep these cash sales).
Guest lists (first and last name) must be sent in an excel spreadsheet to Brian@njyp.org.
First and last name must be in 2 separate columns.

Dress Code
"Business" or "business casual" dress is required.

New Jersey Young Professionals is about getting out and making friends! There are thousands of members from all over the state. Members meet at restaurants, bars, in coffee houses, at comedy clubs, and even outdoors. We get together to taste wine, honor the happy hour, network, play board games, hike, bike, and so much more.
