November 11, 2017 marks the anthology release and the debut of this performative event directed and produced by Peggy Robles-Alvarado with Vanessa Chica Ferreira serving as stage manager!

Mujeres, The Magic, The Movement and The Muse is a collaborative performance of an anthology of women writers by the same name that honors the body as storyteller, soothsayer, and living legacy. Led by award winning poet Peggy Robles- Alvarado and inspired by the ancient teachings of the Taino, Lukumi and Palo traditions, these women pull at complex histories, challenge misnomers, and make connections to their muses through body and spirit. The result is performance poetry that celebrates the magic of self- discovery, forgiveness and healing in the name of joy.
