Please join us as local author Iris Sokol reads from her new children’s book “Mudge and Lola in the Strollah”. Enjoy a delightful reading with the company of a friendly therapy dog, all complete with bagels from Popup Bagels and light refreshments. Perfect for children ages 11 and under.

Meet the Author

Iris Sokol, a resident of Charlestown, isn’t a professional writer, but she felt that this true story about her beloved dogs, Lola and Mudge, was so beautiful that she wanted to share it, especially with children. So, over 3 years, with the help of her family, she wrote this story to share with the world. Iris has always been self- described as “a lifelong dog lover”. Lola and Mudge and their unique relationship inspired her to write this book. It has been a labor of love and an accomplishment of which she is most proud.
