Join us for a night of celebration and recognition at our in-person event in San Antonio. Get ready to honor outstanding male teachers of color who have made significant contributions to our community. This is a special occasion to show our appreciation and gratitude towards those who have gone above and beyond. MToCC Honors is open to educators, community leaders, students, families, and allies who want to celebrate and support male educators of color in San Antonio.

2. Do I need to be a member of MToCC to attend?

Nope! This event is open to the public. Whether you're a member, supporter, or just learning about MToCC for the first time, you're welcome here.

3. Is this event free?

Yes! Admission is free. We just ask that you RSVP in advance so we can plan accordingly.

4. What can I expect from the event?

Expect a powerful evening of celebration, community, and storytelling. We’ll be honoring male educators of color who are making a difference through mentorship, leadership, and advocacy.

5. What should I wear?

Dress to celebrate! Business casual or cultural attire is welcomed and encouraged.

6. Will food be provided?

Light refreshments and snacks will be available during the event.

8. Can I nominate someone outside of San Antonio?

Yes. While our primary focus is on educators serving in the San Antonio area, we absolutely welcome nominations for individuals outside the region, especially if their work aligns with the mission of the Male Teachers of Color Collaborative and has had a meaningful impact.

9. Is this a kid-friendly event?

While this event is geared toward educators and adults, respectful students and families are welcome to attend and celebrate.
