MST Segment 6 Thru-Hike PADDLE

Bring your kayak or canoe and paddle the 'blue alternative' of the MST, the Yadkin River State Trail! 17 river miles from Yadkin Shores to the Pilot Mtn State Park boundary (Shoals). Participants will meet and drop-off boats at Yadkin Shore and drive to Shoals to park. Participants will then shuttle back to Shore and paddle to Shoals river access where they can leave with their vehicles. *The paddle is contingient on water levels and participants should expect to adjust accordingly as well as be prepared for a long, fun day on the river. Proper equipment like lifejackets and paddles are necessary, along with enough water, snacks, sunscreen and anything else requried to enjoy a 6+ hour float.
