MSK Radiology Course - Pre and Post-op Cross-Sectional Imaging of Joints
Overview
This online Cross-Sectional Imaging of Joint Derangements fellowship is designed for radiologists seeking to enhance their understanding of pre- and post-operative imaging across major joints, including the hip, shoulder, knee, ankle, wrist, and elbow. The programme focuses on correlating imaging findings with clinical presentations, highlighting normal and abnormal appearances following surgical procedures for osteochondral lesions, ligament and tendon reconstructions, and pulley-plate repairs.
Training covers multimodality imaging techniques—X-ray, CT, and MRI—used in the evaluation of internal joint derangements. Emphasis is placed on recognizing pre-operative pathology, understanding post-operative anatomy, and identifying complications related to surgical interventions. Participants will gain insight into both expected post-surgical findings and key imaging clues that indicate treatment failure or recurrence.
At the end of the programme, you will have the knowledge and confidence to interpret and report complex joint cases pre- and post-surgery with a systematic approach. You’ll be able to identify normal post-operative appearances, detect complications, and provide clinically relevant reports that support multidisciplinary treatment planning.
🏆 CME accreditation has been applied for. Certificate awarded upon successful completion of the course.
Participation in this online fellowship (small group format) ensures a personal learning environment where you will enhance and strengthen your own and each other’s knowledge. In this interactive Zoom classroom among peers, you are free to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn together with the support of the radiologist mentor.
