MSK Radiology Course - Advanced MSK Imaging Part 1 Lower Extremity
Overview
This online Lower Extremity MSK MRI fellowship is designed for radiologists who wish to strengthen their expertise in imaging of the hip, pelvis, knee, ankle, and foot. The programme combines expert-led lectures with guided case review sessions, allowing participants to interpret real anonymised cases from the teaching archive and immediately apply newly acquired knowledge to practical examples encountered in daily clinical work.
Training focuses on key joint, muscle, and tendon pathologies of the lower extremity, covering both intraarticular and extraarticular hip pathology, pubalgia, ligament and meniscal injuries, anterior knee pain, ankle and midfoot ligament pathology, flatfoot, and metatarsalgia. Emphasis is placed on structured interpretation and reporting, helping participants distinguish normal variants from pathology and communicate findings clearly to referring clinicians.
At the end of the programme, you will have the knowledge and confidence to interpret and report lower extremity MSK MRI studies using a systematic approach. You’ll be able to identify subtle abnormalities, recognize common injury patterns, and apply structured reporting methods to produce clinically valuable, high-quality reports aligned with best practices in musculoskeletal imaging.
🏆 CME accreditation has been applied for. Certificate awarded upon successful completion of the course.
Participation in this online fellowship (small group format) ensures a personal learning environment where you will enhance and strengthen your own and each other’s knowledge. In this interactive Zoom classroom among peers, you are free to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn together with the support of the radiologist mentor.
