The Purpose

The purpose of the Mr. DC charitable organization is to enlighten the community to experience a new dynamic of men in our communities. Mr. DC brings a sense of growth and empowerment to highlight a sect of the community to show that men are choosing to work in the community to build a fundamental value of 21-32 year-old males and even more over that age by being role models. We are creating mentors and model men in modern society with 12 social community service platforms.

The United States President's Lifetime Achievement Awards

During this celebration, we honor a selected group of dedicated individuals and organizations. The honor was established by the executive order of President George W. Bush to honor volunteers that give hundreds of hours per year to helping others.

D r. Gloria Crosslin

Dr. Crosslin is Ms. Virginia World, representing the 60 and over age group. She is the founder and CEO of Mr. DC and beyond. She believes that communities are stronger when we work together.

MR DC STEVEN POWELL-ALLEN

The Mr. DC event provides community service platforms to hundreds of nonprofit organizations throughout the nation. This feat is accomplished by the Mr. DC men of culture, who volunteer their talents, skills, and abilities to nonprofit organizations that support initiatives ranging from children with autism to veteran organizations.

We believe that communities are stronger when we make them our personal responsibility and priority. The Mr. DC organization exists to provide human capital community service hours at community engagement activities to build stronger communities.

The previous winner, Mr. DC 2024 Steven Powell-Allen will be in attendance crowning Mr. DC 2025.
