Event description

Description

“If you’re human, you’re biased—but that doesn’t mean hidden bias can't be overcome.”

Asurint and Tech Elevator partner to host a screening of the award-winning CODE documentary, and you're invited!

CODE exposes the dearth of American female and minority software engineers and explores the reasons for this gender gap. CODE raises the question: what would society gain from having more women and minorities code?

“CODE was such a great conversation starter...This film isn’t about and for women; it’s about the greater responsibility we – men and women – have in reducing the gender gap in technology.” - Kristen Weber, Principal Program Manager @ Expedia Inc.

This is a must-see film if you’re:

• Working in technology or managing a technology team

• A programmer or in a related role

• Trying to break into a career in technology
