Movement Incubator

Movement Incubator

By Cleveland Embodiment Collective

Overview

We’re excited to announce our first offering as part of our Movement Incubator event series!

Join us on December 27th at Abide West in Lakewood from 6:00-9:00pm for a blindfolded movement practice. Space is limited, and registration is encouraged. We’ll be working in a closed container and you MUST arrive and be in the space before 6:15 to participate.

We’ll do introductions, briefly introduce the collective and talk a little about our goals for the series, and then we’ll step into our practice for the evening.

We’ll be exploring blindfolded movement in a safe, facilitated container. This is a slow, quiet, and gentle practice that includes the opportunity to explore contact and touch with other participants. There will be lots of room to participate at your own comfort level.

The evening will be facilitated by Babs Elizabeth, Dannie Horton and Hayleigh Robertson. They’ve been holding space for this practice each summer at The Starwood Festival (most recently under a gentle rain around a small fire, which was magic).

About Movement Incubator
Movement Incubator is an event series where a rotating cast of facilitators lead small groups through unpolished and experimental movement practices. We want to foster a community of folks who are curious about trying new things and are hungry to explore the edges of unrefined movement.

NEEDS-BASED-TICKETS are available!
Cleveland Embodiment reserves 20% of registrations on a pay-what-you-can basis. If you need a free or discounted ticket please email info@ClevelandEmbodiment.org or message us on Insta.
