Move Up Night

Montessori education unfolds in distinct developmental stages, each bringing new abilities, challenges, and opportunities for growth. As your child approaches one of these major transitions, we invite you to Move Up Night — an evening designed to help you understand what comes next.

This event is for:

• Parents of Kindergarten students moving into Lower Elementary (Grades 1–3)
• Parents of 3rd Grade students moving into Upper Elementary (Grades 4–6)

During this evening, our teachers will:

• Explain how the Montessori environment evolves to meet your child’s changing needs
• Share how the next level nurtures reasoning, independence, and social development
• Present classroom materials and answer your questions

Montessori education is based on planes of development — natural stages in a child’s growth. Each move up marks a leap in thinking and capability. This night will help you see how that next plane unfolds in your child’s journey.
