Move Into Peace on World Meditation Day (Free event in Queens)
Overview
World Meditation Day
On World Meditation Day, people around the globe pause to meditate for inner peace and global harmony. In Rosedale, Queens, we’re gathering at the 116th Precinct Community Space to share He Yi Dao, a gentle but powerful moving meditation that you can do standing or seated—perfect if traditional seated meditation has never felt like a fit for you.
Through slow, flowing movements, guided breath, and simple visualization, He Yi Dao helps you:
- Release stress and quiet a busy mind
- Relax your body and restore your energy
- Feel more grounded, present, and connected to yourself and your community
All ages and abilities are welcome. No prior meditation or movement experience is needed—if you can stand, sit, and breathe, you can join.
What to Expect
