MOVE INTO ACTION
Let’s spend an evening together full of movement, stories, and connection, hosted by Gelukszoekers, Here to Support, and MVNG MTTRS, part of the MOVE Collective at Space at the Overtoom.
Right now, around the world, people’s right to move -to be safe, to be free - is under pressure. It’s frustrating, heartbreaking, and honestly, it can feel overwhelming.
This evening is about turning that frustration into something real. Into connection. Into movement. Into action.
- You’ll hear Abdulaal’s personal story about arriving in the Netherlands as a newcomer.
- Then we’ll take part in the global #Dance4Refugees challenge by UNHRC (UN Refugee Agency), a movement that brings people together through dance, solidarity, and joy.
- And of course, there’ll be snacks and a (non-alcoholic) drink waiting for you.
All proceeds go to Stichting Gelukszoekers and Here to Support, two amazing initiatives supporting people with a refugee background.
