My mother is still alive & I'm still in communication with her, is there space for me?

Only you can decide that. Many people in the transgender, lesbian, gay, and queer community have complicated relationships with their mother's or mother figure. You could even spend the morning with your mother and come join us, if that was necessary.

I'm a lesbian/queer/trans mom & my kids don't accept me/my partner(s), can I join?

Absolutely, that is a valid form of grief. Feel free to join for all of or parts of this event.

Do I have to speak during the Healing Circle to participate in it?

Definitely not. You can just listen or you can speak for certain parts.

I want to do the games & activities, but not the Healing Circle, is that OK?

Yes! Just arrive at 4pm, as we'll be in the Healing Circle at 3.
