This Grammy winner, multi-instrumentalist, and musician’s musician, is a bandleader, historian, scholar, collector, and true NYC institution!Vince will be joined by other Armstrong aficionados, including the great reed player and vocalist Adrian Cunningham.
We’re excited to celebrate our own “Pops!”at thelast Salon of the season. Armstrong’s life-changing experience of music education while confined as a youthinspired the launch of Music on the Inside to give incarcerated individuals today what he had: music, mentorship, and hope.
Each month, our Sunday Salons feature acclaimed musicians contributing their talents in support of MOTI for afternoons of music, mingling and making a difference. These charming events take place in the private home of a benefactor of the arts and include delicious food and wine. Proceeds support music and mentorships from incarceration through reentry. Space is limited and tix sell out.
