The Arts for Everyone! Our differences make us stronger and inspire us to make art even more engaging, inspiring, and stimulating. Stop by the festival and see what moves you!

Established in 1992, the Mosaics Fine Art Festival Association was established to create and foster diversity and vitality of the arts and to broaden the availability, education, participation and appreciation of the arts throughout the community through the formulation of an Art Festival.

We present a professional exhibition to show case the local and regional artists, while also stimulating and educating the community. The Mosaics Fine Art Festival has an interesting diversity of artwork produced by a mix of emerging, mid-career and established artists in all media.

Mosaics is unique in its approach to educating children and adults in how art can enhance their lives. To the community, our program offers cultural advantages and great places for families to live, learn, and play, free of charge.

The Mosaics Fine Art Festival concentrates on high-quality art, education, and community involvement opportunities. Over the past 3 decades, Mosaics continues to grow as the premier professional arts festival held in St. Charles County and is a registered nonprofit 501 c (3) status organization with the State of Missouri

Run completely by volunteers, we hope that you'll join us on historic Main Street for our 30th anniversary this September.

Do you accept donations?

Yes! We are a completely volunteer run 501C3. We accept any size donation to help us bring this festival to the community free of charge. Donations can be made here or on our website. Thank you!

Are there food trucks at your festival?

No. We do have a hot dog truck and a couple of bars with drinks, but aside from those, we like to support the many restaurants along Main Street. For a listing of restaurants: https://www.discoverstcharles.com/restaurants/?view=grid&sort=qualityScore&bounds=false&filter_regions%5B0%5D=5

As an artist, how can I get involved in this festival?

We use Zapplication.org for our application process. We usually open applications in November for the following year. If you have any questions, feel free to go to our website at stcharlesmosaics.org or visit our info booth at the festival.

Do you need volunteer help for the festival?

Yes, we can always use extra help during the festival weekend. Feel free to contact us at mosaicsartfest@gmail.com for more information.

How can I get involved in this organization?

If you would like to talk with us about joining our board and helping to organize this event each year, please contact us at mosaicsartfest@gmail.com. We are always looking for people to help on our board.

Where can I park?

There is free parking along Riverside Drive and in the parking lots that are positioned along that street. There is also free parking along South Main, at the Boathouse, and throughout Saturday and Sunday, the city hall parking garage is free.

Are the same artists here every year?

No. While we do have some artists that apply every year and are juried in, we have many new artists each year that apply. Since we have far more applicants that we can admit into the festival, and we have different individuals in our jury each year, different artists are selected every year.

Is everything really expensive since it's fine art?

No. Of course some of the larger, original pieces can be expensive, but we aim to include artists that have pieces in a variety of styles and price ranges so that there is something for everyone.

If I have any other questions, who would I contact?

You can contact Melinda Nolan at mosaicsartfest@gmail.com
