About this event

Morningside Wine Walk is back!

Your friendly neighborhood business owners* will be uncorking a selection of 20+ wines for you to sip and enjoy. Plan your evening with dinner /snacks at one of our fantastic Morningside Village restaurants and shops: Doc Chey's, Whiskey Bird, Family Dog or pick up food from Casseroles or SAVI Provisions before/after the wine gets flowing.

Tickets are $40 + fees and taxes. All profits benefit PAWS Atlanta**.

Check-in with us starting at 5:15 pm at Morningside Village where you will present your ID (21+), receive a commemorative wine glass and "travel guide" for wine tastings provided by our local businesses.

Visit each offering and receive a stamp in your travel guide which will have exclusive offers from businesses for you to enjoy on your return visit.

We look forward to seeing you on our "sip around the world" without ever leaving our neighborhood!

Parking will be limited, so please consider walking, or a ride share! We ask everyone to be safe. Please be respectful to the neighborhood streets and park in specified parking areas.

*The Morningside Wine Walk Participating Businesses: Casseroles, Pierce Upper Cervical/ Bodymedics, FACED the Facial Studio, StretchLab, Whiskey Bird, Highland Diamond, Highland Fine Wine, Intown Animal Hospital, Natural Body, Doc Chey's, SAVI Provisions, Family Dog, Silver Penny Financial and NuVia Travel.

**PAWS Atlanta, our local "no kill" animal shelter, is dedicated to building a community of caring, by people helping pets and pets helping people. Cats and dogs will be at the event from 5:30-7:30pm, available for adoption, and ready to go home with you, should you fall in love!

Frequently asked questions

Can I get a refund?

No. TICKETS ARE FINAL SALE. All profits benefit PAWS Atlanta, and the animals thank you very much for your donation!

Can I bring my kids?

This is an adult only event. You must be over 21 to attend. However, kids in strollers are welcome!

Can I bring my dog?

We love your dog, and you'd think that an event benefitting animals would welcome pets, but we have to ask you to leave Rover home. Several participating businesses are food establishments, so dogs are not appropriate for this wine walk. Also, you'll need your hands free! Thanks for understanding.

Will there be food?

That is up to each business. Some locations might choose to offer snacks to go with the wine, but we encourage you to eat at one of our wonderful local restaurants before or after the event!

Do I have to visit the tastings in any particular order?

You will be provided a travel guide at check-in, showing the participating businesses and what country each is representing. Don't forget to get your passport stamped at each location!

What if it Rains?

We will all get wet! This event is rain or shine. Please plan accordingly.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Tickets are limited, $40 + fees/taxes ticket sales end on Wednesday, September 17th @ 7:00pm, or until we reach our maximum capacity of 300 people. If we haven't sold out, you can get tickets at the door for $50 CASH ONLY.

All that wine...will there be restrooms available?

Yes! There will be 2 porta potties in the lot on Lanier, as well as restrooms inside of some businesses available to you.

How should I get there?

Parking will be limited, so we strongly suggest that you walk, use public transportation, or ride-share to and from the event. Plus, you will likely be drinking a generous amount of wine, so you won't want to bother with a car! Please do not drink & drive, we want everyone to be safe and be lawful.

But, I simply must drive, and I will sober up before getting in a car. Where should I park?

Parking will be limited, as we are using the lot on Lanier for animal adoptions. The lot on N. Highland (by Highland Fine Wines) will be available, as will the lot in front of Highland Diamond. Also street parking but please be mindful of the residents and no blocking driveways/outlets.

Wait...I have more questions, where can I find answers?

If you need more information, please ask at one of our participating businesses with a poster in their window, email your questions to communications@mlpa.org.

Will I have to walk far?

All participating businesses are within 1 block. You will, need to cross North Highland at the crosswalk, and there is a slight hill up from the back of the building. Please wear comfortable walking shoes.

What are the rules I need to be aware of?

Be 21 years or older to attend the event.
Empty your wine glass before leaving each and every stop.
You may not have any wine in your glass while on the city sidewalks/streets between stops! Please Follow traffic pedestrian rules. Please only cross the streets at crosswalks.

Please know.....

We will refuse to serve anyone who appears to be intoxicated or bad behavior. The MLPA and all participating businesses reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who appears to have over-consumed or is showing symptoms of intoxication.
