Where is the nearest carpark to IMDA PIXEL?

Pixel Building has limited parking spaces which are available on a first come first serve basis. There is no complimentary parking at Pixel. Other nearby parking spaces: (8 mins walk to IMDA Pixel) - Fusionopolis, 1 Fusionopolis Place, Singapore 138633 - Solaris, 1 Fusionopolis Walk, Singapore 13862

Who should attend these panel discussions?

Accepted Answer

Writers, authors, media educators, media students, media professionals, general public, anyone
who is interested in the process of creating ideas for the screen.

Question 4

Is the ticket price the same if I only want to attend one of the English or Chinese session?

Accepted Answer

Tickets are SGD10.80 (incl GST) per pax, regardless of whether you are attending one English / Chinese session or both.

Question 5

Is it free to attend if I've already submitted an entry to the RisingStories 2023 competition?

Accepted Answer

You will receive an invitation from RisingStories 2023 for an RSVP free pass to the event as long as you have submitted your entry before 15TH MARCH 2023 at 2359. Submissions made after this deadline will not be entitled to a free pass; you will have to purchase a ticket from Eventbrite.

What if I do not receive the letter of invitation for free pass after I’ve submitted my entry?

In order to receive the letter of invitation for a free pass, you have to submit your entry to the RisingStories 2023 competition on or before 15TH MARCH 2023 at 2359.

Question 7

Is there a deadline to register for the event on 25th March?

Accepted Answer

Registration will close when all the seats are filled. You are encouraged to register early as seats are limited.

Question 8

Can I walk-in and purchase tickets on the day itself?

Accepted Answer

Yes, via Eventbrite only as we will not be able to accept cash or other forms of payment, subject to seat availability. We apologise if we have to turn away walk-ins if we are sold out.

Question 9

I bought my ticket but I am unable to attend. Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

Please note that once you have made payment, there will be no refunds. You can transfer your ticket to someone else.

Question 10

Will there be an English translation for the Chinese session and vice-versa?

Accepted Answer

There will be no simultaneous English translation for the Chinese session and vice-versa.

Question 11

Will there be a break in between the Chinese and English sessions?

Accepted Answer

The Chinese sessions will run from 10.00am-12.00noon. The English sessions will run from 2.00pm-4.30pm. Participants who are attending both sessions can take their lunch break (participants' own) from 12.00noon-1.30pm.

Can I submit questions for the panelists?

Accepted Answer

We have allocated time for Q&A at the end of each session where participants can ask the panelists questions face-to-face.

Question 13

Is there an age restriction for this event?

Accepted Answer

Only participants aged 16 years and above are allowed to attend the event.

Are the free passes transferable?

Accepted Answer

Free passes given to those who have submitted their entries to RisingStories 2023 are strictly not transferable.

What are lunch options near IMDA Pixel?
