Welcome to More in Common Salford! Join us for an evening of connection and community at The Aspen Clinic on Tue, July 29th, 2025, at 6:00 PM (doors open at 5.40pm). Let's come together to celebrate our shared values and build new friendships. This event is all about bringing people from different backgrounds together to show that we have more in common than we think. Each event will focus on a different theme.

July's theme is: Care. July is Good Care Month, which aims to honour paid and unpaid social care workers. We'll be expanding this theme to consider all aspects of care, including self-care. Optional: Bring an object that tells us something about you or care that you have received or given.

You may have been a care worker or an unpaid carer for someone. You may have something to share about how you practice self-care and why it is important to you. You may have even experienced being cared for yourself through a period of illness. Care means different things to different people, but by sharing our experiences, we may find that we have more in Common.

There is no pressure to speak or share anything during the session, if you don't want to. You are more than welcome to come and listen to other participants' experiences.

Hot drinks, water and snacks will be provided.

If you can't make this session but would like to come to future sessions, please follow us on Eventbrite or visit: moreincommonsalford.org for details of our mailing list.
